Our history

In 1988 we obtained our first pharmaceutical licence for Efamol Evening Primrose Oil

Efalex launched in the 90’s with licensed permitted health claims for the treatment of ADHD symptoms

2006 Efamol & Wassen merge to become a £15m business with 30 international markets

Wassen becomes brand leader in UK, Europe and Middle East and recieves The Queen’s Award for Industry

Leading healthare manufacturer Vital purchase the business in 2011
